I'm getting the year started off with a little weaving!
Made this little piece in a couple of hours using the same techniques used to make a hula hoop rag rag. Instead of a hula hoop I used an embroidery hoop, and I used yarn instead of cut up t-shirts. It turned out really nicely. It looks a bit like a flat piece of tree stump, only, to be fair it's not quite flat. I'll work on that for next time. I think the trick is to make the object much smaller than the frame. At the end I think I accidentally pulled too hard on each round causing it to curl. It mostly flattens out with a little manhandling. :)
